Our Peanut Butter Crunchy healthy dog treats are all-natural, high-quality, handmade dog treats baked with upcycled malted barley from local San Diego, CA craft breweries. Each package weighs 8 ounces (227g) and contains about 18 treats. Our dog treats come to you in a resealable stand-up pouch to maintain freshness.
We reformulated our peanut butter dog treats with a NEW RECIPE! First, we packed these treats to the brim with, even more, all-natural peanut butter. Second, we transitioned from all-purpose flour to a more nutritious barley flour. Third, we now add natural preservatives that contain Vitamin E and Rosemary extract to help maintain freshness.
More treats in each bag! We increased the bag size from 6 to 8 ounces, which means you get more treats per bag at the same price per treat!
Our dog treats do not contain any wheat, soy, lentils, potato flour, pea flour, corn, alcohol, hops, or artificial preservatives. Some of those ingredients have been found to have a potential dietary link between canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and dogs (source). Feeding Guidelines:
Treats are not meals! Our Peanut Butter Crunchy dog treats are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only and are not meant to replace standard meals for your pet. We recommend 2 to 4 treats per day or after meals for a job well done! Always provide plenty of fresh water and lots of belly rubs.

Will these treats get my dog drunk?
Absolutely not. We source the freshest malted barley used during the brewing process prior to any fermentation (actual beer being made). Check out our nifty infographic on the back of our packaging to see how the malted barley becomes dog treats before the brewing process ever occurs.
Tell me more about this Spent Grain stuff?
We upcycle spent brewing grain from the beer making process! It all starts at a brewery, with the malted barley taking a warm bath in water (known as “mash”). The grains are then considered “spent” once the liquid is separated from them and that’s where we come in. We take these “spent grains” and mix them into our delicious crunchy treat recipes!
Does this product require refrigeration?
No, but you can if you like. Refrigeration will extend the already long shelf-life of our dog treats but it is not required. Keep in mind, we use all-natural peanut butter that does not contain xylitol, artificial sweeteners, or preservatives.
How often should I give my dog these treats?
We recommend 2-4 treats per day with plenty of water as well as some belly rubs.
